Cereal Ingredients Inc. (CII) has announced it will build a new 80,000 square foot facility in St. Joseph with new technology to enhance its product line. This expansion represents an investment of $24 million and more than 60 new jobs by the end of year six of operations.
Deere & Company, a world leader in agriculture and construction, is expanding operations in Springfield, Missouri. The remanufacturing division of Deere & Company, John Deere Reman, will add drivetrain and hydraulic remanufacturing operations to their existing facilities, creating 130 new jobs.

The Challenge encourages Missourians to volunteer for 200 hours this year in honor of the state’s 200th year of statehood. Those who complete the Challenge will receive a certificate for their service during Missouri’s bicentennial year.
