State of Missouri to Hold Public Hearings for FY2025 HUD Action Plan

March 14, 2025

The State of Missouri will hold formal public hearings across the state to allow for public input on the Fiscal Year 2025 Action Plan.

Each year, the State is required to develop an action plan that outlines how each program funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered by the State will operate over the next year. DED is the lead agency responsible for developing this action plan.

CDBG Public Services Training: Housing Counseling

March 5, 2025

DED’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program will host a virtual training, Public Services: Housing Counseling(link is external), on Thursday, March 27, 2025.

Please plan to join CDBG staff from 10 to 11 a.m. as our presenter, Technical Assistance Coordinator Ashley Black, provides helpful information for our CDBG Housing Counseling Policy.

The training will include important policy and procedural information that will be helpful to subrecipients and grant administrators who are planning projects for Down Payment Assistance, New Single-Family Housing Construction, Community Rehousing Incentive for Buyout (CRIB), and Homeowner Rehabilitation and Reconstruction within their communities.

DED’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program will host a virtual training, Financial Policies: Procurement(link is external), on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

The training will include important policy and procedural information that will be helpful to all subrecipients as they start procuring professional services to complete their CDBG projects.
