Missouri’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.1 percent in September 2019, down a tenth of a percentage point from August. Seasonal adjustment is a statistical technique used to measure and remove influences of predictable seasonal patterns to show how employment and unemployment change monthly.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development published an amendment to the Draft FY19 State Consolidated Plan Partners Annual Action Plan and posted the public meeting schedule. Note: The amendment applies to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program only. Public comments regarding the amendment are due November 7, 2019.

The Missouri Community Service Commission (MCSC) awarded $1,000 scholarships to high school students who displayed outstanding dedication to volunteerism during their annual awards banquet held at Camden on the Lake in Lake Ozark on June 26, 2019.
