Today, Governor Mike Parson announced that 39 Missouri libraries were awarded more than $870,000 through the Missouri State Library to help residents access high speed internet for telehealth and distance learning in response to COVID-19.
The Missouri Department of Economic Development and the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development approved over $1 million in grants and tax credits for three organizations through the Workforce Training Initiative.
Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A., recently announced their plans to add an additional line to their current assembly department and start up two more lines on a second shift at the facility in Maryville. These plans will create 110 additional jobs in the area.
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Department of Economic Development announced the opening of a second application cycle for the Governor’s Emergency Broadband Investment Program which will provide $2 million in funding to broadband providers.
