Enhanced Enterprise Zones (EEZ) may be created by communities to encourage job creation in a blighted area.
This program was enacted in 2023 through the Entertainment Industry Jobs Act, §135.753, RSMo, and is designed to expand Missouri’s live-music manufacturing industry by providing incentives for touring artists to rehearse and perform in state.

This program is an innovative method of financing (i) the acquisition, construction and equipping of qualified manufacturing production facilities and/or equipment, and (ii) refinancing outstanding tax-exempt bonds. The Tax-Exempt Program provides low interest rate loans to qualified borrowers through the issuance of tax-exempt revenue bonds by the Missouri Development Finance Board.
The Missouri Broadband Grant Program was created in the Revised Statutes of Missouri sections 620.2450 to 620.2458 in 2018.

The Creating Helpful Incentives for Producing Semiconductors (CHIPS) Act Program (the Program) will make investments in the state’s semiconductor supply chain and ecosystem, with an ultimate goal of attracting semiconductor manufacturers to Missouri.
To support Missouri’s manufacturers, the state provided incentives in the form of withholding taxes to expand manufacturing facilities for an existing product. Projects involved a capital investment as well as the creation and/or retention of jobs. This program expired in 2016.

The Missouri Veterans and Job Opportunity Grant Program (Program) disburses Grants to Eligible Employers who employ Missouri individuals from Targeted Groups, including Qualified Veterans who have faced significant barriers to employment. The Program is governed by § 620.3305 RSMo.
