TCARE, a company providing enterprise technology that helps employers and insurers reduce caregiver burnout, announced that it has relocated to an expanded facility in St. Louis, creating 20 new jobs. TCARE’s new location will enable the company to continue to attract and maintain top talent as it grows and brings more business to the local economy.
“TCARE’s expansion in St. Louis is further proof that Missouri stands out as a prime location for leading and innovative businesses,” said Governor Mike Parson. “It’s always exciting to see cutting-edge employers like TCARE growing in our state while creating jobs and investing in communities. We look forward to this company’s continued success as it makes a positive difference for Missourians in the St. Louis region and beyond.”
TCARE is an award-winning, evidence-based caregiver risk management platform that’s proven to prevent caregiver burnout. Its patented clinical protocol combines more than 15 years of caregiver insights, advanced data analytics, and high-touch human support to identify, mitigate, and continuously monitor caregiver burnout risk. TCARE partners with managed care organizations, long-term care insurance providers, employers, and others to deliver caregiver support.
“TCARE considers this new space as a significant milestone in continuing the growth journey the company is on,” said Lindsey Niemeier, President of TCARE. “After relocating to St. Louis from Wisconsin, the company started out in a tiny office at Cortex before moving into a standalone building in Midtown and then adding overflow space down the street. Now, it’s encouraging to know we have an office that will serve as the company headquarters for the long-term. Throughout all its moves, TCARE has continued to build on its successes and invest in environments that support the company’s most valuable asset, its people. Having the support of the Missouri Department of Economic Development has been instrumental in ensuring that TCARE will continue to grow in St. Louis and the surrounding areas in the state. TCARE is looking forward to strengthening its partnership with DED as the company grows into its new home.”
TCARE began as a research project at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to determine what leads to caregiver burnout and the premature facility placement of the care receiver. This research, later developed into a protocol used in a study by the State of Washington, resulted in reduced Medicaid usage, delay or deferral in nursing home placement rates, and financial savings, while improving the health outcomes of both the caregiver and care receiver. The company relocated from Wisconsin to St. Louis in 2019 as part of the Arch Grants program and has since experienced exponential growth. Today, TCARE supports caregivers in all 50 states and has more than 170 employees worldwide.
“We’re thrilled to see TCARE growing, succeeding, and carrying out its inspiring work in St. Louis,” said Michelle Hataway, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “This project is a perfect example of what’s possible when partners work together to create positive change and lasting economic growth. We’re proud to support TCARE as it expands in St. Louis and continues to create new opportunities for Missourians to prosper.”
For this expansion, TCARE will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
What others are saying
“DCM Group is excited to be part of TCARE’s growth and assist in the continued activation of the Vandeventer corridor,” said Robert Goltermann, President of DCM Group. “This development would not have been possible without the continued investment in the urban core.”
