St. Louis flooring company Missouri Terrazzo plans to expand under new owner

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Missouri Terrazzo Company, a flooring contractor that installs terrazzo, resinous flooring and wall systems and dyed, polished and stained concrete, plans to expand its workforce in St. Louis by adding at least 10 highly skilled jobs over the next two years.

St. Louis executive, Paul J. Berra III, purchased and plans to grow the company through organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and partnerships.

“Missouri Terrazzo has an 85-year history of bringing skilled union craftsmanship to the buildings and businesses that make the Midwest strong,” said Berra. “We plan to build on that history for decades to come through an extensive portfolio of flooring choices that highlight the region’s artistry and character.”

Missouri Terrazzo eventually plans to seek a larger facility in the St. Louis area to accommodate its growing business. One company project includes the newly remodeled Gateway Arch National Park, which will be unveiled this summer, featuring an iconic 4,200-foot terrazzo map of the United States.

Missouri Terrazzo is Missouri and Southern Illinois’ largest installer of terrazzo floors, with active and completed projects in seven states. In addition to the ongoing Arch upgrade, Missouri Terrazzo’s projects include Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, the University of Missouri, University of Notre Dame and the St. Louis, Memphis and Atlanta Airports.
