The Tourism Infrastructure Facilities program provides state increment financing assistance for eligible tourism infrastructure facilities owned or operated by a Regional Convention and Visitors Commission established under § 67.601 RSMo undertaking qualified projects, such as convention centers and certain sports, recreation, entertainment, and related tourism facilities. Applications may be submitted to the department on or after August 28, 2026, and cannot be approved after August 28, 2028. Projects must meet statutory eligibility requirements, including demonstrating a positive net fiscal impact to the state. Program funding is provided through a portion of state tax revenues generated by the project, subject to statutory limits and the terms of a funding agreement.
