The Federal Initiatives team was created to help attract and successfully distribute federal dollars for community and economic development in Missouri. The team works closely with stakeholders throughout the state, monitors federal opportunities, and pursues funds that align with DED’s strategic priorities. Federal Initiatives houses the Office of Broadband Development and has also created and administered grants for community revitalization, industrial site development, and small businesses, among others.
