Community Development Block Grant - Community Facility

This program helps Missouri communities construct facilities that will serve a large portion of the public with a variety of services. With education and health/well-being programs taking priority, communities can utilize this program to construct senior centers, day care centers, rural health clinics, telecommunications, and 911 services, among others.

Department of Economic Development awards $1,678,221 in Youth Opportunity Tax Credits

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) approved ten Missouri not-for-profit organizations for a total of $1,678,221 in tax credits under the Youth Opportunities Program (YOP).

The following organizations have been approved for tax credits under the YOP:

Building Use Incentives for Large-Scale Development (BUILD)

To help companies embark on major investment and job creation expansions, provides low-interest loans to qualified borrowers through the issuance of tax-exempt revenue bonds for the acquisition, construction, and equipping of qualified manufacturing production facilities and/or equipment.

Department of Economic Development awards $1,353,711 in Youth Opportunity Tax Credits

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) approved eight Missouri not-for-profit organizations for a total of $1,353,711 in tax credits under the Youth Opportunities Program (YOP).

The following organizations have been approved for tax credits under the YOP:

Industrial Development Bonds

Cities and counties can purchase or construct certain types of projects, such as warehouses, distribution facilities, and industrial plants with bond proceeds to then lease or sell to a company.

Community Development Block Grants

From addressing local health and safety concerns to improving local facilities such as senior centers and community centers, CDBG programs are designed to support your community's wellbeing and greater capacity for growth. Grants are available in a variety of categories and can be utilized for a variety of community development initiatives. 

Wine and Grape Tax Credit

With more than 120 wineries throughout the state, Missouri supports continued growth for our vineyards and wine producers. Through this program, growers and producers can access tax credits for the purchase of new equipment and materials for expanding Missouri’s wine industry.

Applications accepted through October 31, 2017 for eligible expenditures. No new authorizations or issuance of tax credits shall be made after December 31, 2017.
