This program helps small business incubators leverage funds to use for working capital and other non-operating expenditures that support new business creation in communities. Neighborhood Preservation Act

To provide an incentive for the rehabilitation or construction of owner-occupied homes in certain areas of the state.

The 2019 NPA application period is now available.  The postmark deadline for the 2019 NPA application is February 15, 2019.  Once all applications have been received and processed, award and denial letters will be sent no later than June 30, 2019.

Delta Regional Authority

  • To develop the transportation infrastructure of the region for the purpose of facilitating economic development in the region;
  • To assist the region in obtaining the job training, employment-related education, and business development (with an emphasis on entrepreneurship) that are needed to build and maintain strong local economies;
  • To provide assistance to severely distressed and underdeveloped areas that lack financial resources for improving basic public services;

Community-based organizations can access financing to administer a family Development Account project to help low-income residents participate in matched savings programs. These savings programs will help families in your community pay for school, purchase a new house, make home improvements, or start up a small business.

Youth Opportunity Program

The CY2019 YOP Guidelines and Application is now available.  Applications will be accepted beginning December 1, 2018 and must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2018.  Applications will be reviewed and scored competitively, with tax credits awarded based on score.   Approved 2019 projects may begin April 1, 2019, July 1, 2019, or October 1, 2019.
