Missouri Technology Corporation

The Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC) is a public-private partnership, working collaboratively to foster entrepreneurship and the growth of new and emerging high-tech companies.  The organization provides leadership and makes strategic investments that help entrepreneurs create and grow technology-based Missouri businesses.  MTC funds several programs across the state including the Missouri IDEA Fund and the Missouri Technology Incentive Program.

MOSourceLink connects aspiring, emerging and established small business to a network of nonprofit resource organizations that provide business-building services. IT Entrepreneur Network (ITEN)

The IT Entrepreneur Network (ITEN) is an initiative of the St. Louis IT Coalition and Innovate St. Louis.  Established in 2008, this non-profit is a catalyst of Missouri’s IT ecosystem.  ITEN provides unique programs, events, and access to resources that accelerate tech venture success.  Currently, ITEN serves over 220 start-up ventures and involves over 120 volunteer mentors. ITEN's programs form a venture roadmap from concept through design, prototype, launch, revenue, funding and rapid scaling. Guidance from serial entrepreneurs, subject matter experts and other stakeholders helps entrepreneurs focus on essential critical tasks and avoid wasted efforts. Access to investors, key service providers and qualified talent means fewer barriers to rapid growth. Designed by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, requiring neither payment nor equity, ITEN is a unique community resource and a proven route to venture success.

Missouri Small Business & Technology Development Centers (MO SBTDC)

The Missouri Small Business & Technology Development Centers (MO SBTDC), the Missouri Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (MO PTAC) and the Mid-America Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAAC)  help businesses obtain financing at every stage of business development; from concept to start-up, growth to renewal and mature to succession. The SBTDC offers comprehensive assistance with financing assistance, including SBA loans; PTAC provides assistance obtaining government contracts;  and TAAC administers the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms program, a matching grant program to help manufacturers compete in a global economy.
