From a state device using Global Protect

If you have a state device, you should have a program called Global Protect, which allows you to access the virtual private network (VPN) that the department uses. VPN is an encrypted connection that allows you to access the network securely when working from home.

From a personal device using VDI or a token to connect 

If you are working from a personal device, you will need to have a token to connect to the state network. You’ll download software onto your device and use an app on a separate mobile device to connect.
