CUBA, Mo.—The Missouri Department of Economic Development today announced that Chesterfield-based National Medical Billing Services will open a new facility in Cuba, Mo. The $213,000 expansion project will create 11 new jobs, with the possibility for significant further job creation over the next few years.
“It’s always great to see new jobs coming to the state, but it’s especially great to see Missouri-grown companies appreciate the opportunities and pro-business climate they’re afforded right here at home,” said Mike Downing, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. “Companies have many options when it comes to choosing where to locate or expand, so we’re very proud to partner with National Medical Billing Services, who has decided to invest here in Cuba.”
National Medical Billing Services is a national healthcare revenue cycle management company that specializes in servicing ambulatory surgery centers and their affiliated surgeons. Headquartered in Chesterfield, Mo., National Medical Billing Services currently employs approximately 400 employees, and has grown its annual revenues by 1,000% over the past five years, leading it to explore expansion opportunities. “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Cuba community to expand our rapidly growing operations,” said Nader Samii, CEO of National Medical Billing Services.

The company is also partnering with the Missouri Division of Workforce Development to hold a recruitment event on Friday, July 24, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Recklein Auditorium in Cuba, Mo.
