Missouri is a Leading Agricultural State
Missouri is one of the leading states in number of farms, crop production and livestock products in the nation. Missouri's crop, livestock, processing and other agricultural sectors accounted for $12.4 billion, or 7 percent, of the gross state product. Missouri employs more than 245,000 workers in the agricultural sector.
