Industrial Infrastructure Grant

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) may provide communities located in non-metropolitan areas a grant of up to $1.5 million per project, and also limited to a schedule of new job creation and new capital investment by a supplier. The grant funds would be for public infrastructure needed to facilitate an expansion project of a supplier.

DED may provide funds to manufacturing suppliers to improve the skills of new or existing employees.

New Jobs Training

For manufacturing suppliers that will create more than 80 new jobs, the state withholding tax of new employees may be diverted to pay for training costs.

Human Resources Assistance

The Missouri Division of Workforce Development works with Missouri Career Centers to assist employers in HR matters. Career Center Business Representatives work with employers in matters of recruiting and can advise on the availability of workforce incentive programs.
