The Division of Workforce Development has 14 Business Representatives located regionally throughout the State who are dedicated to serving Missouri businesses through customized, personal service and are a single point of contact for information and assistance to workforce services. In addition, each local Workforce Investment Board has formed a Business Services Team in each of the State's 14 workforce investment regions. These teams include representatives from multiple agencies that create a large network that is dedicated to the workforce needs of local businesses.

The Business Representatives and the Business Services Teams can assist with recruitment efforts, such as, organizing hiring events, writing and posting job orders in GreatHires.org, and screening qualified applicants. They can provide information on local employment dynamics and labor market statistics, training assistance, tax credit incentives and low cost business seminars. Finally, they can act as intermediaries in helping the business community access information and other resources at the Career Center.
